The Principal at Acquisition and Management, LLC is Mitchell J. Ross. He brings a mix of public and private experience leading large, complex acquisition and management organizations with diversified product and service portfolios. Mr. Ross was the Director of the Acquisition and Grants Office of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a federal agency dedicated to the environment. He began public service when he was appointed to the first class of Presidential Management Interns, later joining the Naval Air Systems Command as a federal Contracting Officer. He left public service and became the Vice President, Corporate Contracts and Procurement at BDM International, Inc., a professional and technical services firm. Mr. Ross returned to public service when he joined NOAA.
Mr. Ross graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Political Science. He earned a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and an M.A. in Government from Georgetown University. He completed the Federal Acquisition Management course at the Defense Systems Management College, the National Security Studies program at Georgetown University and was a member of the federal Senior Executive Service.
